Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actress born January 31, 1974. Her most well-known role is as Bo from the Showcase TV series Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk are the fathers of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director. She teaches the art of the art of drama for St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna can remember watching her mother while at work, and also attending the rehearsals for her plays. Silk was featured in a variety of commercials when she was a young child. The year 1997 was the time she graduated with an associate's degree from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas was involved in two stage productions prior to that, including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk was able to move from Toronto on November 29, 1999, to Los Angeles California to pursue her acting career. Seth Cooperman was her future partner when she first saw him in 2007 during an Actors' Workshop located in Los Angeles. The couple was legally married in December of 2009. The couple was married on April 10, 2011. renewed their vows in the Jewish wedding ceremony held in Fredericton after Silk converted to Judaism. Silk born a son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13, 2013. Levi Aaron, her second child was born May 13 in 2016. Silk is known for her part on TV as Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009, she was recognized by Gemini Awards. Gemini Awards. In 2009, she was cast as Bo Dennis, the main character Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk was expecting while shooting the finale of the third season. Silk announced her pregnancy to fans during her Showcase Season Three pre-show special which aired on January 6. Silk tweeted on the 20th of June that she's ready to go back to working. The 4th of June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially announced the beginning of the final season of the series. Silk's portrayal of Bo and Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as lovers who are identical in the show Lost Girl was named one of the most popular Television Couples on CNN (Cable News Network) and voted the most popular TV Couple of 2013. The same was done by E! Entertainment Television. Silk is one of the most popular shows on the social network.
